{{Draft|decline=yes|decliner=Camenati|reason=This isn't necessarily an ident from the channel, it's more of a news intro for Kiribati News. If it were an ident, then it would closely align with the channel's logo rather as a lead-in for said program, which can be seen as a screenbug on the top left corner of the news program.}}

===Background===
===Intro (2002-March 2013)===
'''Television Kiribati''' was the sole, state-owned television service in Kiribati. Established in 2002, it broadcasted local and foreign programmes, and was accessible only in the country's capital, South Tarawa, and in the neighboring island-town of Beito. It provided about an hour of local programming on weekdays, and did not broadcast on weekends.

The government of Kiribati suspended the channel on March 2013, due to serious financial problems, and its personnel's lack of expertise and knowledge in programming and production.

Intro (2002-March 2013)

Visuals: The sequence starts off with a close-up view of a GIF of the flag of Kiribati in CGI waving, covering most of a white background. After almost twelve seconds, the GIF fades to a scene where the camera zooms out from footage of a sea during sunset. A branch from a tree is shown near the top left of the footage.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A five-note news-like theme tune, accompanied by drumbeat sounds. The tune ends with a synth note.
