Background

KnowWonder, Inc. was an American video game developer based in Kirkland, Washington that developed several video games based on animated films and shows. In 2001, the studio was acquired by Amaze Entertainment and its departments were split into three sections: the handheld and console departments were renamed Griptonite Games and Adrenium Games respectively, while the PC department retained the KnowWonder name until 2004.

Logo: A sparkling yellow dot appears on a black screen and draws two arcs together, resembling an oval. Then the spark flies at us and the word "KnowWonder" in a decorative font appears inside the oval. Below is the byline "DIGITAL MEDIAWORKS".

Variants:

-In 2001, the logo was slightly improved. The name appears already at the start, and the spark creates the new byline "An Amaze Entertainment Studio" below.

-There is also a still variant. Sometimes, the oval and byline are missing.

FX/SFX: The spark drawing the logo. None for the still variant.

Music/Sounds: Originally a humming background with a crystal tune. After 2001, there are three whoosh sounds, each getting louder, accompanied by crystal chimes.

Availability: Seen on licensed cartoon and kids games, such as Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Finding Nemo and Shrek 2.
