Background
Knowledge Network, also branded as British Columbia's Knowledge Network respectively, is an Canadian publicly funded educational cable TV network serving the province of British Columbia owned by the Knowledge Network Corporation (KNC), a Crown corporation of the Government of BC. The channel launched on 12 January 1981. Rudy Buttingol is the president and is also the C.E.O. of the said latter TV channel. It is headquartered in Burnaby, BC, Canada. The channel's slogan itself is called "BC's Public Broadcaster".
