Background
This is the vanity plate of David Kohan and Max Mutchnick.
1st Logo (March 21, 1996-May 16, 2002)
Logo: On a space background, we see the company name in white, and in the same font used in Will & Grace. Then a star flies from the screen and lands on the "i".
Technique: 2D animation.
Music/Sounds: A falling sound when the star flies, then a sound of someone blowing a raspberry when it dots the "I".
Music/Sounds Variants:
- On Will & Grace, the ending theme is used.
- NBC used a generic theme on original airings.
Availability: Seen on Boston Common and the first four seasons of the aforementioned show.
2nd Logo (September 26, 2002-April 23, 2020)
Logo: On a black background, we see "Kohan" in light blue and "Mutchnick" in dark blue sliding towards each other. The words are shortened to "KoMut" with "ENTERTAINMENT" in gray underneath.
Variants:
- On later episodes and the 2017 revival of Will & Grace, "Kohan" is now in dark blue and "Mutchnick" is now in light blue.
- A widescreen version of the normal variant also exists.
Technique: 2D computer graphics.
Music/Sounds: A short jazz tune or the end theme. NBC and CBS airings used a generic theme.
