Background

Koch Vision (pronounced "cawch" and not "cook" or "coke") was founded in 1999 as Koch Entertainment's home video division. It disappeared in late 2006, shortly after Entertainment One merged and acquired Koch, and was later rebranded as eOne Films US. It's not to be confused with the European company of a similar name, Koch Media (known today as Plaion). In 2009, the Koch brand name and its division was all but folded or reincorporated into eOne, ending its presence for good.

1st Logo (1999-2008)

Visuals: On a navy blue "sky" background that radiates outwards, there are the words "KOCH" (in a "cut-out" blue font) and "VISION" below in a black font to fit the width of "KOCH". After two seconds, the slogan "SEE THE FUTURE" in black and in between two black lines flashes at the bottom below "VISION". The logo fades out.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Appears on Koch Vision releases such as Popular Mechanics for Kids and ReGenesis.

2nd Logo (2000-2005)

Visuals: Over a black background, parts of the word "KOCH" (in a "cut-out" blue font) turn on as the camera rotates and "INTERNATIONAL" in white text flips in letter-by-letter below. Then, the logo shines.

Technique: Again, CGI.

Variant: A shorter prototype variant exists.

Audio: The clicking, then a synth drone.

Availability: Used for re-issues of many Koch materials, including a VHS re-issue of Ragdoll. The prototype variant can be found on a VHS re-issue of Backlash: Oblivion 2.

3rd Logo (2006-2009?)

Visuals: Over a black background, the glowing word "KOCH" (in a "cut-out" blue font) flips and zooms out. After it stops glowing, the white word "VISION" shines below. Finally, the URL appears underneath.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A synth string tune.

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]
