Background: This was a division of video game company Konami, used to distribute anime.

1st Logo

(1980s-1990s)

Logo: On a black background, two glowing lines crawl in from the top and bottom of the screen (the top line is red and the bottom is yellow). They meet and pass each other, forming the Bacon Strips logo as they move. When the lines go off-screen, the logo rises a bit and a blue line quickly moves downwards, then slows down to form "'''''KONAMI'''''" as it goes off-screen. The logo glows.

FX/SFX: The lines forming the logo, and the glowing.

Music/Sounds: A Japanese-style synth piano tune with metallic sounds when the lines form the logo. A sparkling sound is heard when the "'''''KONAMI'''''" is formed and when the logo glows, the ascending/descending bell synth sound, which sounds like the 3rd Konami logo, but modified, is heard.

Availability: Seen on anime tapes from Japan.

Editor's Note: None.
