Background

Labyrinth Video was a British home video distributor.

Logo (1995)

Visuals: Two right trapezoids horizontally slide from opposite sides to the center, with the one on the left overlapping. Both trapezoids are violet with a white gradient, the one on the left having a white bottom and the one on the right having a white top. Once the trapezoids stop at the center, an eye shape with a spinning indigo-white outer circle rises in the top-right direction from the left trapezoid's slant, stopping in the approximate center on the screen. A portion of the eye remains obscured by the trapezium. "LABYRINTH VIDEO" in a Garamond-style typeface wipes itself in below from the left and the outer circle stops spinning.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A jet-like whoosh, immediately followed with a dreamy synth jingle, a crescendoing whoosh and a ramatic synth note.

Availability: It was spotted on a 1995 release of Asterix Versus Caesar.
