Background
Laguna Video Games, also called in German as Laguna Videospiele Vertriebs & Marketing GmbH was a defunct German-based video game publisher who published several Game Boy and Super Nintendo games throughout the 1990s, such as Mega Man 7, whilst serving as Capcom's European publisher for 8-bit and 16-bit systems until the introduction of the 5th generation of consoles, but has also published and distributed games for the PlayStation, the Sega Saturn and the Nintendo 64. The company was bought by Infogrames in 1998, becoming their German division Infogrames Deutschland thereafter.
