Background

Lau Brothers Film Co. was a Hong Kong film company founded by Lau Kar-Leung, Lau Kar-Wing and Lau Kar-Fei as a spin-off to Shaw Brothers.

1st Logo (1978?-1979?)

Visuals: Over a black background, there is an outline of a 3D "LB" facing rightwards sliding in from the left to the center. As it stops, multi trails of the "LB" logo starts zooming closer to the screen. It repeats, but with yellow, light green, green, blue, and finally, yellow again. A trail of "劉氏兄弟影業公司" zooms in via trail in yellow and a white, bold, sans-serif "Lau Brothers Film Co." wipes in from the left below it. After that, the 3D red "LB" (now filled with red and a white outline) and a yellow outline realistic drawing of a hand opening the right finger facing to the left is seen fading in at the top of the text. The black screen turns to black/blue vertical gradient.

Technique: Motion controlled animation.

Audio: An action-oriented fanfare (the final part of the music from the 2nd Warriors Film Company logo)

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]

2nd Logo (1979?)

Visuals: It is known that over a blue background, there is a red, bolded, Eras-like "LAU BROTHERS FILM CO." with "presents" in the same style but smaller at the right of it. Below it is a picture of a red moon on the night with a golden figure standing on a pillar with a white curve drawing at the bottom of the red moon and a stylistic drawing of an ocean below it. Underneath it is a white "劉氏兄弟影業公司出品"

Technique: Possibly a still printed graphic.

Audio: Possibly none.

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]
