Background

Legend Films is a San Diego-based company founded in August 2001. The company specializes in the conversion of feature films, both new release and catalog titles, and commercials from their native 2D format into 3-D film format utilizing proprietary technology and software. The company started business providing restoration and colorization of classic black-and-white films for DVD, HDTV and theatrical release. The company didn't have a logo until 2007.

Logo: On a swirling rainbow background, we see a blue metallic bar with "LEGEND ILMS" in a tall white font inside. In the middle is a film countdown with a fancy black "F" in it. Underneath it is the text "The Leader in Restoration and Colorization Technology".

FX/SFX: The swirling.

Music/Sounds: A deep, ethereal synth theme with some twinkling.

Availability: First seen at the end of the colorized version on the 2007 DVD reissue of It's a Wonderful Life, and can be seen on other titles from the company.
