(1980s)

Nicknames: "The Tiger", "MGM Logo Spoof"

Logo: We have a black background. On the center is an orange ribboning, obviously a parody of the MGM lion logo, which zooms in slightly. The circle has the words "LES PRODUCTIONS DU TIGRE" and the bottom right part of the ribbon says "VIDEO". All of the words are in silver, and when combined read "LES PRODUCTIONS DU TIGRE VIDEO" (English for "TIGER VIDEO PRODUCTIONS"). Inside the circle fades in a tiger's head. After 20 seconds the logo fades into a French warning screen, and after another 20 seconds it goes back to the logo for 10 seconds.

FX/SFX: Simple animation.

Music/Sounds: An excerpt from Elmer Bernstein's Overture.

Availability: Seen on French VHS releases.

Editor's Note: A strange-looking MGM logo spoof with the long text extending onto the right end of the ribbon.
