Midori Entertainment
(2004-2006, 2011)
Logo: On a black BG, a green leaf floats around and toward the silvery 3D words "MIDORI ENTERTAINMENT", landing in the center, causing water to ripple below. A spark flies around the stem of the leaf clockwise.
Later Variant: A later variant exists where the leaf flys to the off-center, before the words rise up as a ripple appears, apparently a pond with light reflecting off of it. Shadows are seen below the words.
Technique: The leaf, the water ripples, and the spark.
Music/Sounds: A gentle and beautiful synth choir, piano, and string tune. Later it was a 5-note piano.
Availability: Seen on old episodes of Animal Atlas. Season 8 episodes have the next logo after.
LongNeedle Entertainment
(2005-2012)
Logo: On a cloud background, a blue filmstrip with a twig of needles and a pinecone (all in green) flies from the bottom of the screen to the middle. Then "LONGNEEDLE" in a blue Times font with a shine and "ENTERTAINMENT" in Optima spaced out (again, blue) zoom out to the bottom of the strip. "LONGNEEDLE" shines and the clouds in the background move.
Technique: The filmstrip, the clouds and the text. Primitive animation.
Music/Sounds: Same as the Midori Entertainment logo. Later it was changed to a orchestral theme with a note held out at the beginning.
Availability: Was used on some later episodes of Animal Atlas and its home video releases.
