Editor's Note: The mishmash of effects and the loud sound of electricity sizzling, coming jarringly after the slow fade-out from Angelo Badalamenti's serene music, but especially the sudden start of all this, will definitely startle and scare more than a few; it worsens for those prone to epilepsy (though this logo fits perfectly with the nature of ''Twin Peaks'').

Visuals: On a black background is the text "LYNCH / FROST" in white above "PRODUCTIONS, INC." also in white, all in a Stencil font.

2nd Logo (April 12, 1990-July 4, 1992, May 21-September 3, 2017)

Visuals: There is a massive short circuit somewhere in the logo as what appear to be two racks that are placed one above the other are seen. The top has the words "LYNCH/FROST" and the bottom has the word "PRODUCTIONS" below. Meanwhile, electricity zaps, lights go on and off in different sides and corners, and two metallic circles appear randomly behind the racks.

Variant: On episode 8 of the 2017 Twin Peaks reboot, the logo is in black and white to fit with the episode's theme.

Technique: Deliberately crude stop-motion animation.

Audio: An extended version of the electric sizzling from the previous logo.

Availability: Can be seen on DVD releases and reruns of both the original and the 2017 reboot of Twin Peaks. Was also seen on On the Air.

Legacy: This is a memorable logo among those who have watched Twin Peaks for its flashing imagery, although it isn’t as infamous as the logo from Lynch's other company.
