Background
This is the vanity plate of Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, the wife of Gene Roddenberry.
Logo (October 2, 2000-May 13, 2005)
Visuals: On a black background, a blue vertical line comes to the right and draws two horizontal lines. The picture zooms out, and the lines become the internals of black "B" letter, which is clipped between blue "M" and "R", together making MBR. The words "PRODUCTIONS INC" reveal themselves below.
Variant: A long version of this logo exists where the lines moving animation is slower before the picture starts zooming out revealing "MBR". Only known to appear on the Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda pilot "Under the Night".
Technique: 2D digital animation.
Audio: A short descending entry (sometimes extended for the long version) followed by the cymbal jingle.
Availability: Seen on Andromeda on Global/syndication/Sci-Fi Channel.
