Not to be confused with MTI Home Video.

1st Logo (Early 1980s)

Logo: On a black background, we see a bunch of small circles (or stars) making a bigger circle, with the letter "M" on the left, "T" on the middle, and "I" on the right. It immediately flashes, and the background changes back to normal as the circle glows yellow and stops. The bottom text "MTI Film & Video" fades in. The top text "Distributed by" fades in as well.

Technique: The stars, flashing, and glowing.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on The Immigrant Experience: The Long Long Journey, Women, Drugs, and Alcohol, and Booker.

2nd Logo (Late 1980s)

Logo: On a moving cloud background, we see a camera lens, with its edges shining. We see the same letters from the 1st logo. We see a film reel inside going left, and a videotape as well. The words "MTI Film & Video" go left. As they do that, a rainbow appears in the background. After it disappears, the lens zooms away as the MTI symbol from the 1st logo, but in gray, zooms in. The words "MTI Film & Video" fade in below, which shine as well.

Technique: The words, lens, rainbow, and the clouds.

Music/Sounds: Calm 80s soundtrack.

Availability: Seen on Jimmy Valentine.
