Background

In 2015, Gigi Pritzker and Deborah Del Prete's production company OddLot Entertainment was reorganized as Madison Wells Media (MWM Studios), and dropped the former branding in Summer 2017. Aside from its film and television business, the company has diversified to also include live theater, podcasts, and interactive experiences.

Logo (April 24, 2018- )

Visuals: On a dark blue background, we see a white stylized "M", with a reflection of various people walking inside it, and "MADISON WELLS MEDIA" underneath. The "M" turns cyan and many other larger "M" and "W" shapes zoom out, with the text fading out, and the camera stops zooming out as the shapes fade out, with the exception of the inner three, which form an abstract "MWM" that flies to the left and turns into white to make way for "STUDIOS".

Variants:

  • At the end of some films and on The Dragon Prince, the logo is white on a black background. On the latter, "STUDIOS" is omitted.
  • On season 2 of Genius named Picasso, instead of the usual animation, we see a black and blue starry background with lines drawing the MWM logo, then the word "STUDIOS" appears from the left.
    • A variant beside the EUE/Sokolow Entertainment exists.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None or the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on 21 Bridges, My Spy and Motherless Brooklyn and the television series The Dragon Prince.
