Background
Mad Dog Pictures was an offshoot label of October Films.
Logo (May 1992-1993)
Visuals: A circle wipes and reveals an angry-looking dog on a black circle with "MAD DOG" on top and "PICTURES" on the bottom against a red background. The logo remains static until the same transition happens in reverse.
Technique: Just an iris-in/out effect.
Audio: Either background noise from the movie or dog noises.
Availability: Seen on Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me and the trailer (and possibly theatrical prints) for Chain of Desire. This is blacked out on Fandango at Home prints of the former.
