Background

The Canadian version of DIY Network was launched by Corus Entertainment, Canwest, and Scripps Networks Intersctive on October 19, 2009, replacing Fine Living. Throughout many acquisitions over the years, current ownership results in Corus owning 80.24% and Discovery Inc. owning 19.76. The channel will rebrand to Magnolia Network on March 28, 2022.
