Background

This is the production company of comedian and actor George Carlin, who also ran Cablestuff Productions. Carlin died on June 22, 2008, but the company still exists, under the control of his estate, primarily to maintain his copyrights and publicity rights.

Logo (January 16, 1994-July 16, 1995)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a golden comet moving from left to right across the screen. As the comet moves, the company name wipes in, also in gold. Once the text is fully formed, the comet's trail disappears, and the comet itself turns into a sparkle. An IAW byline is seen below.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A deep, ascending synth note, followed by a ding. On the pilot of The George Carlin Show, the end theme is used.

Availability: Seen on The George Carlin Show.
