Background
Malibu Games was a short-lived subsidiary of THQ, which published and developed games mainly for Game Boy and SNES.
(1993-1995)
Logo: We see a marble square box with a pack of curved lines, which resemble a wave. The name "MALIBU GAMES" is written below in two lines with "GAMES" slightly smaller and spaced out to fit the width of "MALIBU" in a brown stone-colored font. The shine moves at the wave.
Variants:
- On Sports Illustrated Championship Football & Baseball, the background is covered with repeating title tiles.
- On Family Dog for SNES, the copyright info takes the screen with the logo compressed to the top. It also has the background full blue.
- Sometimes, the logo appears very dark.
FX/SFX: The waving effects.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Seen on SeaQuest DSV, Time Trax, Total Carnage and other games.
