1st Warning (1983-1992)
Warning: On a white background, we see the purple text "AVERTISSEMENT" in Times New Roman, with the warning text underneath.
Technique: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Seen on all René Malo Vidéo releases, as well as early Malofilm releases. Also found on early Canadian French MGM/UA and Paramount VHS releases, where it was used until 1992.
2nd Warning (1990-1997, French releases only)
Warning: Same as the previous warning, but this time the warning is in a Courier font and the word "AVERTISSEMENT" is much smaller.
Technique: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Can be found on French-language Malofilm releases from the era. English releases lack this warning and uses the PolyGram Video warning instead.
