Background
This is the production company of Martin Gates.
Logo (September 1994-1999)
Visuals: On a black background inside a purple to move pub-like circle with yellow outline is a still picture of Albert (the watch-dog fish from the cult television series The Dreamstone) holding a paintbrush in his mouth, like he's fetching it. Underneath him is the the initials "M.G.P." in red with yellow outline. Below that, in a Brush Script font, is "A Martin Gates Production" inside a white box with purple outline. Copyright is shown below.
Variants:
- Sometimes, the background is white.
- On most packaging, Albert is simply seen on top of the initials "M.G.P."
Technique: None.
Audio: Just the ending of the show's theme music.
Audio Variant: On videos, this comes up as a still motion logo, which features no music.
Availability:
- Can be seen on old tapes of The Wind in the Willows Collection, Mole's Christmas, and The Snow Queen.
- On television, this logo can be seen at the end of Bimble's Bucket and Molly's Gang.
- It also appears at the end of the 1999 TV movie Santa's Last Christmas.
