Revision as of 14:20, 12 November 2020

Hulk (2003)

The background is green and the comic book panels shown all display the Hulk. At the end, the logo zooms out and is revealed to be inside a small teardrop on a black background.

The Punisher (2004)

The background turns black and the logo is shot at.

Fantastic Four (2005)

The background is blue.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007)

Exactly the same as the Fantastic Four variant, only this time the letters turn clear so we can see outer space behind them, and the logo zooms out to fully reveal outer space.

Ghost Rider (2007)

The flipping comic panels show Ghost Rider in action, and at the end of the logo, the background fades to black and the letters are set ablaze, and appear to be made of twisted metal. Spikes shoot out of the top of the letters.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)

The logo is in black & white and takes place in the future. Seen on the video game of the same name.

Thor (2011)

The 2002 logo fades out to the night sky.

The Avengers (2012)

When the logo is finished, it dissolves into the blue energy from the Tesseract.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

The Hulk's clip is replaced with Spider-Man from Captain America: Civil War, and the fanfare is replaced by an orchestral mix of the original 1967 animated series theme.

Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

Once the logo finishes, it is seen burning red as flames appear below the logo. The camera then pans down into the opening scene.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)

The 2002 logo gets glitched out.

Captain Marvel (2019)

Images of Marvel superheroes are replaced with those of the late Stan Lee. Clips of Marvel movies are all also replaced with clips of Lee's various appearances, either from his cameo appearances in Marvel movies or from publicity footage. After the logo finishes, the background fades to black, the logo then fades away two seconds later, and a message appears saying "THANK YOU STAN". This variant was made as a tribute to Lee, who died several months prior to the film's release.

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

The images of the heroes that were "decimated" in Avengers: Infinity War are excluded. Some footage displayed in the logo is also changed to correspond with the events of Avengers: Infinity War. At the end, the gradient red background fades to black, like the previous two variants, and the fanfare is replaced by the song "Dear Mr. Fantasy" by the English rock band Traffic. Then, the logo cuts to the movie's second scene.

Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

Same as the Spider-Man: Homecoming variant, but the fanfare is replaced by the song "I Will Always Love You" by the late American singer and actress Whitney Houston (1963-2012).
