(1982-1985)

Logo: In a rocky landscape, we see a bubbly pool of water. We zoom in on it and a dragon statue rises and rotates. The dragon shoots fire as we fade to a red background with a black, abstract, segmented MAV and the name fades in below.

Technique: The dragon rotating, done in live action.

Music/Sounds: A descending synth drone that begins to quietly and slowly rise before the fireball, which is impacted with an echoing gong hit. Another high-pitched quickly descending drone plays as we get closer to the dragon, which then warbles. As the logo fades, a descending synth whoosh is heard.

Availability: Rare. Seen on the 1980s VHS releases of many martial arts films, such as Swordsman with an Umbrella, Thousand Mile Escort, The True Game of Death, Death Mask of the Ninja, Tiger's Claw, Blind Fist of Bruce, and Tough Guy.
