Background

Mastervideo was an Italian home video distribution company.

Logo (1990's)

Visuals: On a blue background, there is a huge closeup of the 3D curvy text reading "MASTERVIDEO" sliding in from right to left. It then crossfades to said text slowly zooming out from the viewer until it becomes fully visible. Once it stops, "presenta" in white fades in underneath and remains static for a while. The screen flips away afterwards.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: "Oxygene, Pt. 1" by Jean-Michel Jarre. The capture had almost all of the audio muted due to copyright.

Availability: This was seen on a VHS release of the Italian dub of Donald in Mathmagic Land.
