Background

Matt Makes Games was an independent video game developer founded by Maddy Thorson (formerly known as Matt Thorson). After the said company shut down, the MMG team was moved over to Thorson's new company, Extremely OK Games.

Logo (June 25, 2013)

Visuals: On a moving pattern background, the 8-bit stacked text "MATT MAKES GAMES" spins and moves into place from the top, center, and bottom respectively. The letters are then seen turning in a domino-like sequence, then zooming in and out while twisting, and finally burst with all the letters spinning and zooming out, disappearing completely.

Technique: 2D sequence of the letters and background moving.

Audio: A catchy, fast-paced electronic jingle.

Availability: So far, it was seen on TowerFall and its port, TowerFall Ascension.
