Background

McElroy Television was an Australian television studio which produced Above the Law.

Logo (February 1, 2000-August 16, 2001)

Visuals:

  • Opening: Superimposed over the background of the show's opening credits, the logo, consisting of the 3D text "MT", with the yellow "M" on the left had a red color on the above and the green "T" on the right having a blue and orange color, on the left below and on the side of above, respectively, with "McELROY TELEVISION" in a Bank Gothic-like font below, flashes in, as light trails appear below the logo. The logo then fades out.
  • Closing: Over a night setting, there is a house on a grassland, with the silhouettes of a family can be seen at the door and a fence outside of the house. As the camera rotates, the setting quickly turns to daytime, when the Sun is seen moving up, as the house reveals itself to be "MT", as "McELROY TELEVISION" slides in from the right, letter-by-letter. Before the entire logo is formed, the setting fades into a sky blue and white gradient background.

Technique: A still, computerized graphic for the opening variant, and CGI for the closing variant.

Audio:

  • Opening: The opening theme of the TV show.
  • Closing: A calm three-note flute tune, with a baby giggling sound at the end.

Availability: Seen on the Australian TV show Above the Law.
