1st Logo (November 18, 1994-1999)

Visuals: On a black background, we see a rectangular box with a woman inside of it. She is holding a rotating globe with a candle on it, and above it we see the words MEDIA and the words STATION INC (INC is written smaller), then the words INTERACTIVE FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT wipe in under the logo (FAMILY having two lines above and under the word).

Variants:

  • On Disney's Animated Storybook: The Lion King, the words INTERACTIVE FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT are absent and replaced with INC next to the Registered Trademark symbol, and the logo is still and looks different, e.g. the globe is in black and white.
  • Sometimes, the logo is still.

Technique: The rotating globe and the wiping in of the words.

Audio: A relaxing flute tune or the opening theme of the game.

Availability: Can be seen on Lamb Chop Loves Music, Disney's Ariel's Story Studio, Living Books: D.W. The Picky Eater, among others.
