Background
Media Vista (now called The Penwest Company) is an audiovisual distributor and book publisher. It's primarily known for releasing low-budget DVDs and books aimed at young children in supermarkets.
(2013?)
Logo: We see the MediaVista logo zooming in, and before the end of the ident, zooming out on a black background filled with lights (colored with shades of blue and green).
Technique: The logo zooming in and out; the lights in the background smoothly moving and disappearing.
Music/Sounds: A string theme.
Availability: Most of its catalog of DVDs is re-releases from Pissanos International (Atlas International, Classic Media, public domain cartoons etc.), Fiction Pictures (Mondo TV), Clipart Films and Pedio Editions (DHX Media, Rainbow S.p.A., Aardman and Nickelodeon). Releases of Woody the Woodpecker cartoons from the company are devoid of idents, warning screens and menus; therefore, this ident can be found on very few DVD releases. If not, it can be only found on the DVD releases of 12 Dogs of Christmas.
