Megavision Films
Megavision Films is a Philippine film studio founded by William Lao in 1994 after the closure of his former film production company Bonanza Films. The company which is originally focuses on locally produced films in the 1990s and the early 2000s, but they later changed to distributing Asian and Independent Hollywood films in the 2000s and 2010s.
1st Logo (June 2, 1994-1997)
Visuals: A yellow V zooms out on a black background. Then, two lines form which whom the words "MEGA" and "ISION" in a strange font, also in yellow, appear unfolding from the lines to form the company name: "MEGAVISION", Then, the text "FILMS" appears over the company's name, on purple, shining before appearing immediately. It then cuts to the Cinemax Studios logo.
Technique: All in 2D animation.
Audio: A whoosh, then a strange, evil sounding held note with 5 high notes on company with it.. This segues into the Cinemax Studios logo, which it's part is more scarier and louder than that.
Audio Variants:
- Early films such as Iukit mo Sa Bala, Nagkataon... Nagkatagpo, and Batas ko ay bala have a triumphant fanfare (which is sounds like the 1983 Huskypup Film Productions Logo) with a pluck at the end where the "FILMS" is shining.
- On Kamandag Ko Ang Papatay Sa Iyo, the logo's theme is double pitched along with a loud WHOOOOSH was heard over the Cinemax Studios logo.
Availability:
- Can be seen on Sanggano and other films at the time.
- The logo is also seen on the Philippines-Japan co-production Emergency Call (Kinkyu yobidashi - Emâjenshî kôru) and on co-productions with Cinemax Studios such as Ayos Lang, Pare Ko and Kamandag Ko Ang Papatay Sa Iyo and Star Cinema including Lagalag: The Eddie Fernandez Story and Iukit mo sa bala!.
- The logo did not appear in Sige... i hataw Mo! (A Universal Records Productions film) and Kapag nasukol ang asong ulol (A RS Productions film).
2nd Logo (December 25, 2004)

Visuals: On a black background, the logo from before but in yellow and with "FILMS, INC." next to the "MegaVision" name is far away from the screen and slowly zooms towards the camera.
Technique: Zooming in.
Audio: The opening theme of the movie.
Availability: Only seen on Sigaw (The Echo), which is co-produced it with Regal Films.
Final Note
From 2004 until 2013, Megavision started distributing foreign films, starting with Toolbox Murders and ended with 3 Idiots. It also made a local film comeback in 2009 by distributing the Yellow Media Productions film Sumpa.
