Background

Mercury Entertainment was a Polish home entertainment distributor of cartoons. They were established in 2004.[1]

(2005)

Logo: On a blue background, a gold, outlined and horizontally rotated diamond with its left side thicker than the right flies in from the bottom. It flips down and reveals its other side being filled in. Simultaneously, red and purple are added to the background's color mix. As for the diamond, a white ball flies in from the bottom left and smashes the diamond fill from behind, sending it off into pieces while the sphere turns and has an "M" facing the screen. Underneath it, "MERCURY" wipes in.

Variants: Two alternate font versions exist: the first one has the text in a serif font whereas the other consists of the full company name in dodger blue, a normal font, and a black outline.

Technique: A mix of CGI and 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: A simple, dreamy chimes jingle.

Availability: Seen on Polish home media releases of animated fairy tales and shorts compilations such as Gulliver's Travels, Pinocchio, Tom and Jerry and Pingwiny: przygoda na wyspie.
