Merdeka Film Medan Coy. was an Indonesian film production company based in Medan. It only produced one known film.
1st Logo (1964)
Logo: We see a black background. Then, like a curtain, the background wipes away, first the top part and followed by the bottom part, to reveal the logo card. The logo card consists of the arched words "MERDEKA FILM" in a 3D effect and a brick wall below with the word "MEDAN" in stone.
Technique: The black background wiping away to reveal the logo. 2D animation.
Music/Sounds: A horn fanfare.
Availability: Seen on Air Mata Darah. The film has been preserved at Sinematek Indonesia's archives. Currently the only way to watch the film is through Sinematek Indonesia.
