(1980s)
Logo: On a black background, a white dot zooms out the to left of the screen, while several blue rings gather and conjoin around the dot. As they all connect, they form a TV tube shape with "mo" cut into it. The tube then darkens twice with waves before fading to the final product, with "metronome" above it in a font similar to Bauhaus 93.
FX/SFX: The rings connecting.
Music/Sounds: A theme consisting of several "doos", followed by a whoosh and a deep piano note.
Availability: Very rare. Seen on a VHS copy ofRain Man.
Editor's Note: The creepy animation and music may scare a bit more.
2nd Logo
(1990s)
Logo: On a black background, the same "metronome" from before, but in blue, slides in from the right. Then, 5 silver arcs wipe in to the beat of a metronome, with a invisible bar stopping in 3 places in sync to the music. When its finished, the logo shines.
FX/SFX: The logo forming.
Music/Sounds: The sound of a metronome, which is carried from the warning screen, with 3 synth notes at the end.
Availability: Rare.
Editor's Note: The metronome may annoy you, but its calmer then the other 2 logos.
