Background

Metropolis Software House was a game development studio in Warsaw. It was founded in 1992 and finally hit a list among the three of biggest studios in Poland. However, their games weren't widely known because of their decent quality. The company was bought by CD Projekt in February 2008, and closed in 2009.

1st Logo (1993)

Logo: There is a peach-colored bird-shaped figure with "METROPOLIS" over it.

Availability: Was seen on Tajemnica Statuetki.

2nd Logo (November 22, 1995)

Logo: We see the white words "METROPOLIS" and "software house" in other line. There is a negative box which takes the first letter of each line.

Availability: Appeared on Teenagent.

3rd Logo (February 24, 1998-2002)

Logo: We see ghostly blue metropolis rising above and the name zooming in an orange-tan font. Below is "SOFTWARE HOUSE" sandwiched between lines, and one more line above it, drawn by light streak.

Variant: A print version was used on Archangel.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A synth composition.

Availability: Was seen on RoboRumble, Archangel and Gorky 17 (also known as Odium).

4th Logo (October 24, 2003-2007)

Logo: There is a grey box made of skyscrapers. The company name appears below in two lines.

Audio: None.

Availability: Appeared on Gorky Zero: Beyond Honor, Soldier Elite: Zero Hour and Infernal.

5th Logo (2007-2008)

Logo: There is a perspective view on a surface made of grey squares. Some squares are colored red in the form of "M". The company name (with the first one being white and the second one being grey) appears below.
