Background
This was the vanity card made for Jorge Gutierrez, creator of El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera and Carmen Got Expelled.
(February 19, 2007-September 13, 2008, October 22, 2021)
Nickname: "Dragon City"
Logo: Over a yellow background, we see an Aztec-like dragon lying down, apparently sleeping. Several blocks and lines fall on top of it, forming a city skyline. This prompts the dragon to wake up and curl up its tail. As this happens, "MEXOPOLIS" appears below, letter by letter.
Variant: On Maya and the Three, the text is smaller.
FX/SFX: 2D animation similar to Jorge Gutierrez's usual style.
Music/Sounds: The end theme of the show along with the Apple iMovie kids cheering sound effect when the logo finishes. Maya and the Three had a different kids cheering sound effect. When the screen cuts to black, it has a reverb effect to it.
Availability: Rare. Was seen on reruns of El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera on NickToons and NickRewind, but neither are currently airing the show. It can still be found on the show's DVD release. It can also be seen on Maya and the Three.
Legacy: A favorite to many in the logo community.
