Background

MF Productions was the vanity label of executive producer Michael Filerman, who worked on the 1981-1982 NBC series Flamingo Road and co-produced Falcon Crest with the production company Amanda Productions (known for The Waltons) as Amanda & MF Productions. By 1985, Filerman joined up with Roundelay Productions (known for Knots Landing) to form Roundelay-MF Productions. All productions from the company were also co-produced with Lorimar Productions.

Logo (January 6, 1981-May 4, 1982?)

Visuals: On a black background, there's a stylized "MF" in yellow-green neon lettering with the text "AN MF PRODUCTION IN ASSOCIATION WITH" under it.

Technique: None. [possible misuse]

Audio: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: This was only seen on Flamingo Road, which was last rerun on the Goodlife TV Network (currently YTA) from 2003 to 2004.

Final Note

In 1985, when Michael Filerman joined Roundelay Productions, the "MF" logo was added to Roundelay's logo.
