Background

Mike Zoss Productions' is the production company of Joel and Ethan Coen. The company was named after a pharmacy in St. Louis Park, MN that the Coen Brothers visited often called "Mike Zoss Drugs"

Logo (February 2, 2000-)

Visuals: The logo starts with black crayon drawing of a horse's back. The horse moves its head and looks on us. It appears to wear a small hat. The name is "MIKE ZOSS PRODUCTIONS" in black, the font and background color depends of the year and movie.

Variants:

  • 2000-2001: Plain gray background.
  • 2003-2004: Peach-coloured background.
  • 2007-: A picture of sunset and cereal field as background. At the end of Burn After Reading, the logo is tinted in gray.

Technique: The horse moving its head. [possible misuse]

Audio: None or the closing theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen at the end of films that he produced with the Coen Brothers like O Brother, Where Art Thou?, True Grit, Ladykillers and No Country For Old Men.
