Background
Mind Candy is a UK based company, best known for making the popular online game Moshi Monsters. On the 13th of December 2019, the game shut down due to running on Flash, which ended support in December 2020. Following the year after Moshi Monsters was shut down, it was renamed and reorganized as Moshi and its only active license was Moshi Sleep Stories due to brand recognition reasons.
Logo (16 April 1998-13 December 2019)
Visuals: On a white background, the blurry black text "Mind Candy" zooms in and becomes unblurred. At the same time, jelly beans drop down and bounce.
Variants: In-credit/superimposed versions exist:
- One is of the logo in a white square with rounded corners.
- Another version of this exists with black jelly beans.
- The other version (an opening variant) reads “A Mind Candy Picture” with the “Mind Candy” text in corporate font, but in white.
- There is also a still version of the standard logo.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: A short tune and a pop.
Audio Variant: The opening/ending theme can be played over the logo, or it can be silent.
Availability: The animated version appears on Moshi Monsters adverts, some of the bonus features on the UK DVD of the movie of the said game (as well as on trailers for the movie) and on the mobile game Moshi Monsters Village.
