Background

Miracle Productions Company was a bootleg home media company that was formed in 1976.

1st logo (Opening Logo) (1976-Late 1970s?)

Logo: A white bar extends and, in light blue letters, "M", "P" and "C" appear. "PRESENTS" then appears to the right in a white font. This all takes place on a purple background.

Technique: The bar forming and the letters appearing.

Music/Sounds: The last few seconds of "The Planets - Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity" by Gustav Holst is heard and male announcer says, "And now a special feature from Miracle Productions."

Availability: This logo can be seen on a 1977 Betamax bootleg release of Fantasia.


2nd logo (Closing Logo) (1976-Late 1970s?)

Logo: On a pink background, "Miracle Productions Company" is seen and under it there is text that says "Leaders in illegal Betamax recording since '76." Before it cuts to black, the text "Prod. Date: 1 January 77" appears below. All the text, as well the warning screen before it, are in Helvetica with heavy black shadows.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: This logo can be seen on a 1977 Betamax bootleg release of Fantasia.
