After that, a compass appears above the satellites with the same “News program” text in a curve, forming an oval in the middle, where Moambe (in Georgian) zooms in the middle of the text, along with an oval fading around it. The Georgian “News program” text and compass fades away and company name descends a bit.

Background

TBA.

1st logo (1971-1983)

Logo: Over a black background with what appears to be 4 satellites spinning on the left side, we see Georgian text “საინფორმაციო ჰროგრამა” (News program) rise up 3 times (the first being in a simple font, the second in a more stylised font with the top text in an arc and a film canister in the middle and the 3rd being in a cursive-esque font) with მოამბე (Moambe) zooming in twice. After that, a compass appears above the satellites with the same “News program” text in a curve, forming an oval in the middle, where Moambe (in Georgian) zooms in the middle of the text, along with an oval fading around it. The Georgian “News program” text and compass fades away and company name descends a bit.

FX/SFX: The satellites spinning and text animation.

Music/Sounds: A quiet “whistling” sound, along with an eerie seven-note jingle, which loops 3 times.

Availability: Extinct, was only seen on the channel's news openings of the time.

Editor's Note: A rather ominous logo, thanks to the dark imagery and unsettling music.

2nd logo (1978-1986)

Logo: A "მ" shape flips over a blue background with a sphere in the middle. As it does, the sphere flips inside of it, and the logo flips again to reveal a rectangle with the company name with "ჰროგრამა" at the top and some more Georgian text fading in below.

Logo: The same sphere from the last logo is seen spinning on the top-right corner. 2 red lines are then seen crossing the sphere with a small gap in between them as a white მ fades in over the globe, leaving a faded white stroke behind it between the lines. Georgian text fades in on an individual line and the company name in gold zooms in and shines.

FX/SFX: 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: A light majestic fanfare.

Availability: Extinct.

Editor's Note: None.

4th logo (1991-1997)
