'''Variant:''' A later variant updates the graphics and gives the logo a more sinister look. It also does have no trail and the logo just fades in to the viewer, with the warnings following.

'''Legacy:''' Some might have an issue with the animation in the earlier variant and the darkness in the later one though. In the normal variant, the trails and CGI don't look all that convincing and it looks a lot like the Antenne 2 ident from 1983-1987. Though it overall is less of an issue than in the previous logo.

Background

Mokép Video is a Hungarian video distributor that releases action and horror films.

1st Logo (1990s)

Visuals: The sequence starts with a computer-generated setting showing a VHS tape inserting itself into a VCR. The VCR is placed on a TV table shelf below a CRT. Once the VHS is inserted, the camera pans up towards the TV, now playing static. It then shows a partly cloudy midday sky, to which a gold ring with "Mokép Video" inside zooms out and turns to face the audience as the camera zooms closer to the TV screen. The M and V are both connected to the ring.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A synthesized heroic fanfare.

Availability: Found on VHSes distributed in Hungary, such as The Last Shark.

2nd Logo (2000s-)

Visuals: There is a trail of the word "Mokép" in a futuristic font, coming from a blue planet on a cloudy, blue sky while the sea is placed below. After a few seconds, the planet goes down as the logo puts itself on the trail. Finally, the logo fades to a white background.

Variant: A later variant rebranded the graphics and gives the logo a more sinister look. In here, the stacked text "mokép pannónia" in a futuristic white font, zooms out on footage of a dark cloudy sky with a black planet over the waving water. Once the text is in place, the script words "A" and "Bemutatja" write themselves above and below the name, respectively. Then, the logo fades to the warning screen.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A peaceful violin theme with birds chirping. Sampled from "Rites" by Jan Garbarek.

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]
