1st Logo (1970-1974)

Logo: On a black background, multiple stretched and striped light blue and mint green shapes compresses into the center. After a few seconds, partially colored text stretches in from underneath, forming "MOTOROLA TELEPROGRAM CENTER". Then, three white shapes with two half circles on the left and right flips and turn into a circle containing a stylized "M".

FX/SFX: Scanimate animation.

Music/Sounds: A high-pitched warbling sound followed by a series of repetitive synthesized beeps that ends with a higher-pitched set of notes.

Availability: Seen on For Medicinal Purposes Only.

Editor's Note: The weird scanimation and the bizarre fanfare may get to some, but this is considered tame when compared to the next logo.

2nd Logo (1974-1978)

Notice: this template has been replaced by {{Guidance}} and {{Guidance detail}}

Logo: On a black background, we see red, quick flashes of the Motorola logo, zooming in and out. After it stops, the Motorola logo is now silver and placed on top, and the words underneath, "MOTOROLA TELEPROGRAMS INC. Presents." They zoom in and stop.

FX/SFX: The flashing and zooming in.

Music/Sounds: The strings and a flute play quickly, and then hold a note. This is actually the beginning of "Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity" from Gustav Holst's "The Planets".

Availability: Seen on the educational film, ...So I Took It!

Editor's Note: The music and the weird zooming logo will startle many, not helping that the flashing will make this tough to watch for epileptics.

3rd Logo (1978-1979)

Logo: On a black background, we see the white words, "MOTOROLA" and "Teleprograms Inc.," followed by a duplication of outlined rainbow words. Then, a Motorola symbol is placed next to the word "MOTOROLA", also followed by a rainbow trail. Then, a light blue word fades in on top of "MOTOROLA," reading, "A Presentation of."

FX/SFX: The rainbow trail. Presumably scanimated.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on Shooting Decisions.

Editor's Note: The chyron effects might make some uncomfortable, but this is certainly tamer than the previous logo.
