Background

Mukerji Brothers was the production company of Indian director, writer and producer Shomu Mukherjee.

1st Logo (September 15, 1973)

Logo: On a black and cyan tiled background that rotates, there is a large black ring in the middle with a red border around it, taking up the screen and has the company name in red inside on the top and bottom respectively. Inside the circle is footage of a tiger growling as the camera shakes a bit, but then the footage stops while the background continues to rotate before it cuts to the opening titles.

Technique: Camera-controlled animation for the background and live-action footage for the tiger.

Audio: Tanner's roar from the sixth MGM logo.

Availability: Only seen on Nanha Shikari.

2nd Logo (November 13, 1981)

Logo: In a dark nature setting, we see a statue of the Tridevi riding on an ox surrounded by two candles and an array of smaller candles beneath it. Trees can be seen behind it, and the sun rises in the background, illuminating the setting even more. After a while, the company name in orange with a green 3D body abruptly appears in front of the statue.

Technique: Live-action footage, with camera-controlled animation for the text.

Audio: There is a man singing for a short period of time. A two-note orchestral sting plays when the text appears.

Availability: Only seen on Fifty Fifty.
