Background

Founded by Irv Hollender, who was previously associated with Liberation Entertainment and INI Entertainment. Multicom has since purchased a number of classic TV libraries, most notably those of Official Films/International Creative Exchange, Film Ventures International, Kushner-Locke, and several libraries formerly held by FremantleMedia through ACI Distribution (including the Leonard Hill Films and Tisch/Avnet libraries), among others.

1st Logo (2010-2014?)

Nickname: "The 'MEG' Block"

Logo: On a white background, we zoom out of a rotating block made of the letters "MEG", "M" and "E" in blue and "G" on top in orange. It stops, as the copyright symbol appears next to it. The words "MULTICOM ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, INC." slide in, "MULTICOM" large and in blue and "ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, INC." smaller below it in orange. The word "PRESENTS", in a slightly lighter blue than the rest of the logo, appears under the text shortly after.

Variant: There is a version without the "Presents" byline.

FX/SFX: The cube.

Music/Sounds: A new age jingle.

Availability: Seen on Yancy Derringer on GetTV. May lead, follow or plaster logos from companies such as Kushner-Locke, Arista Films and Film Ventures International on newer prints of some films/TV shows owned by this company. It remains intact on Rifftrax riffs of their library as well.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo (2014- )

Nickname: "Rainbow Multicom"

Logo: On a black background, we see shining multicolored light, which changes colors throughout the logo. It gradually reveals the white text "MULTICOM ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, INC", "MULTICOM" larger and on top of the other text like before. The lights stop shining, forming a rainbow rectangle around the "MULTICOM" text. The logo fades out.

Variant: At the end of some films that have been restored by Multicom, a credits card appears before the main logo with the completed logo on top, and a list of personnel below.

FX/SFX: The rainbow light glowing.

Music/Sounds: Same as above.

Availability: Uncommon; seen on newer HD prints of Leonard Hill Films productions, among others.

Editor's Note: None.
