Background
Myriad Pictures is a film production company founded in 1999 by Kirk D'Amico. On July 24, 2000, 76% of the company was purchased by the German company IN-motion for $4 million, and they later merged the J&M Entertainment library into Myriad. However, they sold the company back to its owners on September 6, 2002, due to financial struggles. The company has remained independent ever since, and has since expanded into international distribution.
1st Logo (November 2, 2001)
Visuals: On a black background is a blue rectangle with the words "Myriad" (in white) and "pictures" (in cyan), both in the Impact font.

- A closing variant exists, where the sphere is absent and the logo is entirely white.
- On the trailer for La Terza Madre, and some others, the sphere and byline were absent, and other colored in bright blue.

Audio Variant: Sometimes, it's silent or uses the opening theme of the movie.
Availability: Can be found on National Lampoon's Van Wilder (the first film to use this logo), Jeepers Creepers 2, The Good Girl, The Cry of the Owl (the last film to use this logo) and many other films.
