NENT Studios UK was originally started out as DRG (Digital Rights Group), which was originally formed by Ingenious in 2006 after purchasing Portman Film & Television. A year later, it bought the international division of Channel 4 and had other brands, namely i-Rights, ID Distribution and Zeal Entertainment.
