Broken Saw
Open (1960s)
Visuals: On a black background, multicolored circles appear and spin like a cube. The circles change color over time. A few seconds later, the text "IN COLOR" slides to the center of the screen. No mention of NET is seen.
Technique: Either cel animation or Scanimate.
Audio: Starts off with descending chimes, before five more notes are played with the same note repeated. This is taken from "Chronochromie" by French composer Olivier Messiaen.
Availability: Seen on Sesame Street episodes from the time.
