Nassour Studios Inc. was an independent production company formed by producer Edward Nassour.
Logo (May 27, 1949)
Visuals: Against a night sky, the words ‘NASSOUR STUDIOS’ are seen stacked on a basic rectangular plinth with a carved line separating the two. In front of the text is the eponymous Nassour Studios itself, with several searchlights scanning the stack behind it.
Trivia: This logo is a parody of the 20th Century Fox (now 20th Century Studios) logo from the same time period.
Variant: On colorized prints of Abbott and Costello in Africa Screams, the Nassour Studios stack is yellow.
Technique: Traditional animation.
Audio: A horn fanfare reminiscent of the Fox fanfare.
Availability: The only known film this was found on was Abbott and Costello in Africa Screams.
