1st Logo (January 1, 1957)

Nickname: "India's Most Unintentional Scary Logo"

Logo: On a black background, we see a bunch of faint smoke rising. A few seconds later, we see a statue of a Dancing Shiva slowly zooming towards us. As it does that, the faint smoke spreads even more, and then, the company's name appears in front of the statue, with the word "NATIONAL" in a slanted form, and the word: "films" in a cursive font.

Variants: At the end of the movie, we see the logo with no deterioration.

FX/SFX: The smoke, the statue zooming in, and the text fading in. All done in live action.

Music/Sounds: A dark string theme, with a man singing and a deep bell accompanying the man.

Availability: Rare, only seen on Tasher Ghar.

Editor's Note: This logo is known to the community as unintentionally horrifying, due to the music, and how badly it got deteriorated.

2nd Logo (1959)

Logo: On a moving cloudy background, we see the company's name in Bengali, which is curved out. Few seconds later, we see once again the Dancing Shiva statue zooming in. It then fades to black.

FX/SFX: The background and the statue zooming in.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 1st logo, but the 1st part being cut out and being in lower pitch.

Availability: Unknown, the original uploader of the logo capture where the movie is provided got terminated, so try to search far and wide for this logo.

Editor's Note: Although it is tamer than the 1st logo, the music can still get to some people.
