1st Logo (January 1, 1957)

Logo: On a black background, we see a bunch of faint smoke rising. A few seconds later, we see a statue of a Dancing Shiva slowly zooming towards us. As it does that, the company's name appears in front of the statue, with the word "NATIONAL" in a slanted form, and the word: "films" in a cursive font.

Variants: At the end of the movie, we see the logo with no deterioration.

FX/SFX: The smoke, the statue zooming in, and the text fading in.

Music/Sounds: A dark string theme, with a man singing "Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram" and a deep bell accompanying the man.

Availability: Rare, both of the variants are only seen on Tasher Ghar.

Editor's Note: This logo is known to the community as unintentionally horrifying, due to the music, and the fact we can't even see the logo because of the severe deterioration.
